My car with license plate: NYTMARE a 93 GT hatchback underwent several months of work to get ready for this event.  It got new paint, upholstery, brakes and engine upgrades.   I was really excited to bring her to steamboat and show her off.   But on the way from Salt Lake when going down a steep grade on highway 40 I heard a loud pop and shuttering in the front end.  While pulling over and not knowing what to do, a true mustanger, Kelly & Chad Bentley from Vernal, UT stopped.   The Bentleys were also going to RMMR in their Mach 1.   Chad is a mechanic and quickly had the wheels off.  He and my dad soon realized the supposed new brakes were not what I thought I had paid for.  The wheel bearing fell out all over the road.   We called ahead to the Craig NAPA store and requested the necessary parts.  Chad & Kelly and their four patient little girls waited with my car while we went 50 miles to Craig and back.  Some sheepherders even stopped to help with a generator and grinder.  After about five hours my car was back together and rolling smoothly to Steamboat.   Thanks to Chad & Kelly for stopping to help and making so I made it safely here, they showed what all true mustangers will do to help other mustangers along the way.   PS since NAPA is a new sponsor, I also want to say KUDOS to the Craig NAPA staff who were awesome and extremely helpful.
