"Steamboat Grand Hotel" Underground Parking New for 2010
New for 2010: The Steamboat Grand will provide 150 (for purchase) parking spaces in the underground garage at the cost of $60 for a 3 day pass. The pass begins on Thursday, June 17, 2010 and is good until Sunday, June 20, 2010. You may purchase additional days prior to Thursday or after Sunday for $20 per day; however, one or two night passes are not available if an underground parking spot is wanted it must be purchased for all 3 days even if you are only staying one or two nights at the Grand. These spaces are strictly for Mustang (car) parking only. Should another vehicle other than a Mustang be in the paid spot, the vehicle owner will be asked to move it and if they didn't have a mustang to park in the assigned spot, their money will be refunded. The Grand Hotel has 150 underground (for pay) spots availble and the parking spots will be assigned on a 1st come 1st served basis when making room reservations.
The Ski Time Square parking across the street from the Grand will continue to be complementary with no assigned spots.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN DOWN TOWN STEAMBOAT, WHAT ABOUT THE SHOW N SHINE ON SATURDAY?
The RMMR Planning Committee has had several challenges to deal with this year. At the top of the list is the CDOT construction along CO State Highway 40 aka Lincoln Ave. I am sending out this note to keep everyone informed of the construction situation. The City had hoped that the construction would have been completed by the time of our event. The RMMR Planning Committee recently took a trip to Steamboat to assess the situation. The RMMR Planning Committee was informed that CDOT will not be finished with construction on Lincoln Ave by June 17th. This being the case, the City Planning Team, along with the RMMR Planning Committee, has come up with an alternative parking plan due to the construction along Lincoln Ave. Using the Meadows Parking Lot for the Show ‘N Shine was considered--Steamboat businesses, RMMR sponsors and the founding RMMR clubs requested the show remain in downtown Steamboat. The solution is to use Oak Street vs. Lincoln Ave. Oak Street is a little narrower than Lincoln Ave. We will not have a row of cars down the center of the street this year. Classes will also be parked along the side streets between 4th and 8th similar to previous years. We have two parking lots downtown that we will also make use of. The RMMR Committee is committed to ensuring a high quality event. This adjustment is only for this year due to the construction. Next year the Show ‘N Shine will return to Lincoln Ave. With your cooperation I am sure this will be a wonderful event. There will not be active construction the weekend of the RMMR. I have asked the Steamboat Chamber of Commerce to provide us with detour and spectator parking information that we will make available at registration.

What class should I place my car in that is FOR SALE? New for 2010
Class QQ is a non-judged class for all Ford bodied, Ford powered cars & trucks that are FOR SALE. All entries in this class must be able to be either driven or pushed into the designated display area. This class is for vehicles only, no parts! No FOR SALE signs are allowed to be displayed on vehicles that are participating in the Show and Shine.

When is the 2010 Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup?
The 22nd Annual RMMR is June 17, 18, 19, 20 2010 in Steamboat Springs Colorado.

When is registration open?
Registration starts every year January 1st and ends April 1st or 225 cars for the autocross and May 15st or 550 cars for the show.

Hard Luck Class for Autocross
This class was new for 2009 and will again be at the 2010 RMMR autocross to capture those cars and/or individuals who have shown up at the event with a car different than represented on their registration or a different driver than shown on their registration. This situation causes for a number of time consuming problems at the autocross with trying to reclass cars, changing drivers, and getting the timing and scoring data base changed at the last minute. With over 200 cars to run, these last minute changes hold up the event and can lead to possible mistakes and inequalities. Changes to the received autocross registration form will be accepted up to one week prior to the event without penalty. Any changes received or noted by the committee after this or on the day of the event will result in the car/driver being put in the "Hard Luck" class. Drivers in this class will not be eligible for any awards. The class does allow the driver to run the car through the course for fun and times. The "Hard Luck" class participants will be put together through the day of the event and will run after the completion of the 4th run group. This class will be given the same number of runs as were given to drivers in the other four run groups.

Will there be an AutoCross Warmup before the 2010 Roundup?
The group that will be running the AutoCross Event at the 2010 Mustang Roundup will get a warmup AutoCross setup for some time in mid May. Please check back in March and April as More info will be available as we get closer to May 2010.
